  2. 1.1 The “Technical Information” website

    This is the MASERATI S.p.A. website which provides Repair and Maintenance Information (RMI) at a charge to independent automotive sector operators for MASERATI vehicles.
    Remarks: The vehicle repair and maintenance operations described in the RMI published on the website must be carried out exclusively by automotive repair professionals with the necessary expertise and equipment.

    1.2 How does the website work?

    A User Manual PDF document is available clicking on User Manual (in the menu on the left) in the main page of the website, and then selecting the EUROPE market.
    A Standardized Navigation PDF document is available clicking on Standardized Navigation (in the menu on the left) in the main page of the website, and then selecting the EUROPE market. The PDF tells the User how to execute ISO18541 use cases in Maserati Techinfo.
    This FAQ page is available after Login clicking on FAQ (in the menu on the left) in the main page of the website.
    These documents provide detailed information on how the website works, such as: technical requirements, connection methods, registering, managing login details and password, purchasing Subscriptions and services and information searching and navigation methods.
    Purchasing Services and Subscription can take place only online by credit card.

    1.3 Repair and Maintenance Information (RMI)

    This is information supplied to repairers for the repair and maintenance of Maserati vehicles: all information on diagnosis, maintenance, inspection, regular checks, repairs, reprogramming, configuration, reinitializing on the vehicle and all the instructions required to install parts or devices on the vehicle.

    1.4 What RMI can be accessed?

    WorkShop repair Manual, Labour Times, vehicle technical data, Help for ECU error codes (DTC), Wiring Diagrams with component localisation diagrams, electric connectors with pin-out, Scheduled Service Plans, Technical Bulletins, Special Tools, Generic Tools, Recall Campaigns, instruction to access Maserati technical assistance.

    1.5 What RMI is available?

    1.6 How can I access RMI?

    Automotive sector operators must carry out Registration to access the available information.
    According to ISO18541 requirements, Maserati Techinfo supports the User management requiring:

    • First, the Legal Representative of a Company registers himself to Maserati Techinfo as IO (Legal Representative),
    and then
    • all other Employees of the Company can register to Maserati Techinfo as Employees

    Registration implies the acceptance of the Policies available on the website clicking on Policies (in the menu on the left) in the main page of the website.
    Once registered, the IO / Employee can purchase Subscriptions and Services online.
    The invoice will be sent within 4-5 weeks to the billing address shown on the user profile.

  3. RMI: ENTITLED USER CATEGORIES
  4. 2.1 Independent Operator

    As EU n.858/2018 defines:

    ‘independent operator’ means a natural or legal person, other than an authorized dealer or repairer, who is directly or indirectly involved in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, and include repairers, manufacturers or distributors of repair equipment, tools or spare parts, as well as publishers of technical information, automobile clubs, roadside assistance operators, operators offering inspection and testing services, operators offering training for installers, manufacturers and repairers of equipment for alternative-fuel vehicles; it also means authorized repairers, dealers and distributors within the distribution system of a given vehicle manufacturer to the extent that they provide repair and maintenance services for vehicles in respect of which they are not members of the vehicle manufacturer s distribution system

  6. 3.1 Request

    Special requests, such as the rights to re-publish RMI, component manufacturing specifications, information for making diagnostic/test tools, validation of developed VCI, may be made through the Contact Us area.

    3.2 Who is entitled?

    Those entitled are undertakings other than authorized dealers and repairers which are indirectly involved in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles, in particular manufacturers or distributors of repair equipment, tools or spare parts, publishers of technical information, automobile clubs, operators offering training for installers, manufacturers, and repairers of equipment for alternative fuel vehicles.

    3.3 Types, contacts and supply methods

    According to the specific type, requests will be dealt with in accordance with the terms and methods laid down by the regulations in force. The type of request must be clearly indicated when completing the form in the Contact Us area
